On behalf of Marsh we are seeking a Nordic Region Fiduciary
Controller to a new, attractive position. This is an exciting opportunity to

You will report to Nordic Regional Controller.
Role
The Nordic Region Fiduciary Controller will be responsible for
contributing in processes in the area of fiduciary (client asset management)
accounting:
- day to day management of Nordic Fiduciary teams
- daily management of funds in & out of fiduciary
systems
- oversight of debtors and creditors reconciliations and follow up
activities
- oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial
reporting activities, including co-ordination of local work with activities
performed in the Accounting hub (UK)
- develop key controls to ensure robust operation and efficacy of
the fiduciary control environment
- ensure that implementation and use of fiduciary systems is
optimized through the organization
- contribute to overall performance of the total business
support
- day to day contact and co-operation with internal and external
business partners
Background
- University degree within economics/finance is preferable. Education
within accounting or equivalent in combination with work life experience might
outweigh a finance degree
- minimum 5 years in similar role in a mid size/large enterprise
- good understanding of accounting
- minimum 1 year business area experience, preferable from broking
business
- able to demonstrate up to date compliance and regulatory
knowledge
- team leader or supervisor experience, but most importantly willingness
to lead and manage people
- fluent in oral and written English and Norwegian (or Swedish, Danish)
